Crowdfunding rules

Fundsurfer is a community of people committed to supporting projects that benefit society.

We welcome and support creative, social and green projects.

There are a few rules every Fundsurfer crowdfunding project must follow. 

These rules don’t cover every possible use of Fundsurfer, but they explain our purpose and perspective.

If you're not sure that your project will be accepted, please contact us.

Projects must be honest and clearly presented

Our community is built on trust and communication.

Projects can’t mislead people or misrepresent facts, and creators should be open and honest about what they plan to accomplish.

Projects can’t offer financial incentives

Reward and donation crowdfunding projects can’t offer financial incentives like loans, investments, equity, shares, or anything finance related, including crypto tokens.

Projects can't involve prohibited items

We prohibit projects that are illegal, heavily regulated, or potentially dangerous for backers. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Offensive material (e.g., hate speech, encouraging violence against others, etc).
• Items claiming to cure, treat, or prevent an illness or condition.
• Weapons, replicas of weapons, and weapon accessories.

Projects shouldn't be live on other platforms

If you are already running a crowdfunding campaign for your project on another platform, then it might not be the best idea to start another. 

And if you are running a campaign on Fundsurfer, don't start another one elsewhere.

This is for your own good - running two projects simultaneously drastically reduces the traffic and money you will receive, meaning that both projects will be more likely to fail.

If you want to succeed, you need to spend all your time and effort managing one crowdfunding campaign.
