About JHOC
The Joint Humanitarian Operations Centre (JHOC) is a micro collation of experienced organisation with expert individuals that have the ability to carry out full logistical support for Humanitarian Aid including food and medical supplies as well as evacuation support in crisis zones. We also have the capacity and experience to deliver “final mile” support to INGOs and Local NGOs in crisis zones.
JHOC has trusted local teams and partner organisations in country, so we don’t spend huge amounts of capital deploying people from other countries making sure our funding goes directly to the aid and logistics as well as get to the areas that truly need it.
Our model is to use local partners and local infrastructure to create a dynamic hub and spoke model that is managed by a team at the JHOC operations centre. We join up existing local infrastructure, organisations and individuals all supported by our international coalition team.
JHOC is made up of Presidium Network (UK Non-Profit), Smart SBC (Swedish Organisation), Osprey Global Solutions (US Organisation) and Shoulder 2 Shoulder (US Non-Profit).
Jointly we have over 100 years of humanitarian and security logistics expertise. We have all been operational in Afghanistan on humanitarian assistance and evacuations since August 2021 been helping keep over 25,000 alive as well as 1000's more helped evacuate the country but we have millions more to help in side the country and 10,000s more to escape Afghanistan.
Presidium Network is a non profit CIC - www.presidiumnetwork.com/
Oliver and Dominik of Fundsurfer helped set up The Presidium Network with two amazing humanitarian experts to help co organise greater support for Afghanistan and other crisis zones.
About The Project
We have a dedicated trusted team in Afghanistan who are working every day to support those who are in desperate need. Our team is fully licensed to important goods and operate in the country. Our team have the ability to move anywhere in the country as they are Afghan citizens. We also have 700 trucks that we can move aid around the country, including 200 we want to make into mobile vaccine units. Our international team help support them by suppling aid international and helping them manage the operations too.
At Fundsurfer we have always looked at how we can help as many people as possible and have raised over £29m for our clients and projects through crowdfunding and our investor network.
For the past three years, we have been working closely with our Afghan partners to support and fund impact investment projects in Afghanistan. We met and worked with some incredibly brave and dedicated people across the country as we worked on renewable energy projects and education initiatives.
With the situation on the ground being incredibly difficult we have launched an urgent crowdfunding appeal to help Afghan Families who are fleeing the country and need support.
Many Afghans worked tirelessly to sustain peace and democracy in Afghanistan or have worked directly with UK and US authorities. For many, their lives will be endangered by the Taliban.
We are supporting Afghan families to gain safe passage out of Afghanistan. We are working closely with the UK Government, Human Rights Lawyers and other partners to get families processed quickly as possible so they can leave for places of safety.
These families will be leaving everything they have worked so hard for behind and will have next to nothing so we will support them any way we can.
We will be supporting charities such as GARAS in Gloucestershire and Aid Box Community in Bristol and our families we are helping directly. We will also work with similar charities in the UK that will need funding. We will set up an independent funding committee to oversee the allocation of funds is managed and planned. Fundsurfer is not a registered charity however will follow all professional fundraising guidance to ensure deployment of funds is managed correctly.
All money raised on this page will go to our Afghan Project.

Our objective
Raise money to help the millions of families stuck and starving in Afghanistan, to help families who need to leave Afghanistan and support those who have entered the UK to make sure they have the resources they need to help make them feel safe and comfortable.
We are aiming to raise £20,000 as the first target and will increase if we hit funding milestones, e.g £50,000, £100,000, £250,000.
Why we are fundraising
We have been incredibly lucky to work with some amazing people in Afghanistan who just want peace and for everyone to have an opportunity to learn, work and live a life without war.
We cannot sit on the sidelines so our team is working around the clock to provide as much help as we can through our international partners and donor network.
Please donate to help those who are stuck in Afghanistan starving and also those who need to be evacuated!! Even if there are other conflicts going on these people still deserve our help and support.
