Like many others we have been hit hard by the current crisis. We need your help to outlast the lock-down please.
Please support our crowdfund to save Trattoria Domenico
We are Trattoria Domenico, independent Italian Restaurant here in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
We have been here, and growing for 10 years, initially starting in one unit, we have been successful and expanded into two more.
The Problem
The problem is CORONAVIRUS, it threatens the closure of not just us but hundreds of other businesses like us all over the country.
Our restaurant is both our business and our livelihood for our family and we want to go on service you for years to come. But our business is not cash-rich, like the big chains, with major reserves and with no income we cannot long continue because, we having checked and rechecked, we fall just outside the schemes that might help us because of our continued growth.
The best estimates available are that we could be shut for up to 12 weeks, which is not something we would survive.
Our weekly outgoings of rent, rates, finance repayments, tax etc are a considerable cost and we would not be able to meet them.
We want to be able to look after our staff, keep the business together, and be able to reopen when this is over and get back to normal as quickly as possible and that is why we are asking for your help!

About us
We have grown so much over the last years as a family from being a small 10 table restaurant to seating now over 105 people with a piano bar and lounge area. We are so passionate about what we do that we have always invested from our own pockets back in our restaurant to make your experience more memorable.
