Hi. My name’s Andy Compton and I’ve been making music for over two decades. I have my own independent record label, Peng, and have released no fewer than 29 albums. As the vast majority of musicians will tell you, making a living from music is hard work and a constant challenge, but it's what I love doing so have no plans to stop.
My latest album, released under the name 'COMPTON', is called ‘Bristol Boogie’. It’s a love letter to smooth 80s groove and I’m incredibly proud of it. While producing the album I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with some super talented musicians and singers, including Ladybird, Sabrina Chyld, Celestine, and Incognito’s Katie Leone. It’s been a blast.

Bristol Boogie is available to buy digitally right now, but I’ve put so much into making the album I want to give it an extra big promotional push to really make it shine and get it noticed. I want the sweet sounds of Bristol Boogie to be heard and enjoyed by as many groovers, soul-heads and devotees of quality tunes as possible.
Unfortunately, as an independent musician with no big label support, I simply don’t have the finances to make this happen on my own, so I need people who believe in good music to get involved and make a pledge.
